Sometimes when we wonder, it is there we find inspiration.

Sometimes when we wonder, it is there we find inspiration.
Sometimes we need a little inspiration to set us on the right path of reaching our dreams and goals. This year, I have a desire to do more personal work, inspired shoots and projects that I simply have been wanting to do for a while. This styled shoot is one of those. A simple yet intentional table scape inspired by color and subtle Italian flare. I think it's great for wedding ideas, dinner parties or just an excuse to have a small gathering with people you like and love.
I don't do personal posts that often, so I thought I'd share a few photos Kevin and I took while road tripping to Texas for our engagement photos.
We crave adventure, and this trip was surely that. We began by leaving Colorado at 7pm, drove through the night, stopped in a parking lot to sleep a few hours, and then we were back on the road, arriving in Texas around 11am the next day. We stayed with the most generous people and family along the way, we ate amazing food and we experienced the kind of hospitality that one can only get in Texas.
Kevin and I are road trippers at heart, meaning we don't necessarily live by a schedule when traveling. If we saw something fun, we stopped. If we wanted ice cream from Braum's, we ate it. If we had to pull over because we were in a deep conversation, we did. All the while, documenting with my camera along the way.
This is what happens when you try to take a self portrait with a manual focus film camera, ha. ;)
Many thanks to Ryan Ray for capturing our fun love in the photos below.

As wedding season approaches, I'm really happy to get to show you just a small part of our own wedding design. We wanted to do something a little different than what I see a lot, and we wanted to combine our two style preferences. Kevin loves bold patterns, block letters and quirky elements, and I love clean, simplistic and whimsical design. So we compromised and Kevin came up with this design that completely expresses our personalities, style and relationship. I love it so much! We also took a different printing approach and instead of digital or letterpress printing, we handmade every-single-one by rolling ink onto a stamp and pressing it onto the paper. It took sooo long, but it was completely worth it. I can't wait to show you more of our wedding ideas as time goes on!

There are few things sweeter than photographing a week old baby. I'm honored to get to travel the country doing what I love to do, for people that are so genuine and thoughtful. People that welcome me into their lives to document such important moments.
Many congratulations to you, Erin and Daniel, as you welcome your sweet baby girl with an abundance of love and joy!
I'm beyond blessed to call Erin and Daniel not only some of the best clients, but truly genuine friends. For now, just a sneak peek of this incredible couple's new baby girl.
Hi friends!
There's something about a season's change that brings a fresh perspective on life. Today I can't help but dream of spring blossoms, bright colors and fresh air. This spring I'm looking forward to new inspiration, to fun life adventures, and to loving people well.
I also cannot wait to share a little project I've been lucky to be a part of the past few months. We're just around the corner from seeing a broad vision develop into solid reality.
Stay tuned, especially if you're a fan of fashion, culture and authenticity.
