A little disclaimer... at the risk I'm willing to take, this post includes a few of my real-life, unfiltered thoughts.
Friends, 2012 has been quite the year. It has been no doubt the most challenging year, personally and professionally. My dad always says that every day is a learning experience, and I fully understand what he means now. In the challenging moments we have an opportunity to grow. Both within our hearts and our character. 2012 has also been one of the most encouraging years because I've learned to truly live deep within my heart. To slow down, and to love people the way we're called to love them... unconditionally and with the patience that life and love demands.
I've had a few people in my life this year that have taught me to dream again, and to fully understand why I do what I do. Some of these people probably don't even know they've had an impact. It's not for the accomplishments or success, but out of a passion for art, creativity and a deep love for people. More than anything, I love seeing other people live up to their full potential, and if what I do inspires others in that way... well then, I'm completely content.
I dream of continuing to do what I do. To be inspired and to live passionately everyday. To those of you reading who have been a part of this from the beginning or are maybe just reading my blog for the first time, I'm grateful. I'm grateful because I get to do what I love to do everyday. I hope I get to do this for many years, and I'm optimistic that 2013 will be an exciting year. This year, I hope y'all have a very Merry Christmas!
